Apply a deep conditioner, then wear the shower cap for about 10 minutes during the treatment time. Rinse out the conditioner with water or shampoo afterward.

Wet Plopping Method

To allow styling products to work their magic and give your hair time to absorb them while still wet, the wet plopping method is recommended. After applying your styling products (like leave-in conditioner and gel), put on the shower cap and give the styling products 10-15 minutes to be absorbed by your hair.
