1. Allow Deep Conditioner to Work Effectively:
As curly-haired individuals, we should regularly use deep conditioner to ensure our thirsty curls are well-nourished—especially during the cold winter months! It becomes even more effective when you introduce heat; the shower cap generates warmth, allowing the deep conditioner to penetrate much better. Apply a deep conditioner, then wear the shower cap for about 10 minutes during the treatment time. Rinse out the conditioner with water or shampoo afterward.

2. Wet Plopping Method:
To allow styling products to work their magic and give your hair time to absorb them while still wet, the wet plopping method is recommended. After applying your styling products (like leave-in conditioner and gel), put on the shower cap and give the styling products 10-15 minutes to be absorbed by your hair. The result: significantly more hydrated and defined waves/curls. Definitely worth a try!
